CFIP Assessment Structure
The Certified Financial Investigator Program (CFIP) assessment process is designed to evaluate participants' knowledge, skills, and competency in tackling complex financial crimes. It ensures that law enforcement officers in Malaysia are well-prepared to handle real-world investigations with precision and expertise.
Participants will encounter quizzes and module assessments throughout their learning journey to test their understanding of key concepts and investigative techniques.
Quiz Details:
Number of Questions: 10 multiple-choice questions.
Duration: No time limit.
Retries: Up to five attempts are allowed.
Passing Score: 60%.
Format: Multiple-choice questions delivered through the CFIP LMS Platform.
Module Assessment Details:
Number of Questions: 35 multiple-choice questions.
Duration: 60 minutes.
Passing Score: 70%.
Format: Multiple-choice format, available on the CFIP LMS Platform.
The quiz and module assessments are designed to provide ongoing feedback to participants, ensuring they grasp the fundamental concepts before advancing to more challenging topics.
To qualify for the CFIP Associate Certificate or CFIP Professional Certificate, participants must pass the Domain Assessment. This comprehensive evaluation ensures participants are ready to apply their knowledge in real-world investigations.
Associate Level:
Passing Criteria: Participants need to pass all core modules with a minimum score of 70% to earn badges in domains such as Foundation, Crime Investigation, Legal & Ethics, and Soft Skills Competencies.
Once all badges are earned, participants can sit for the Domain Assessment, which requires a passing score of 70%. Successful completion leads to the CFIP Associate Certificate.
Professional Level:
Passing Criteria: Participants must complete one core module and five elective modules within the Investigation Techniques domain and pass the respective assessments.
Upon successful completion, participants can take the Professional Domain Assessment, which consists of 70 multiple-choice questions. A passing score of 70% is required to earn the CFIP Professional Certificate.
CFIP Associate Certificate: Awarded after completing all core modules, earning badges in each domain, and passing the Associate Domain Assessment.
CFIP Professional Certificate: Earned by completing advanced elective modules and passing the Professional Domain Assessment.
